Cuyahoga DD accepts applications for student internships and graduate level field placements on a limited basis. Both traditional and non-traditional internships are supported by Cuyahoga DD. A traditional internship involves the identification of learning goals by the student who receives some type of educational credit. There must be an agreement in place between Cuyahoga DD and the student's college/university for a traditional internship. (If one is not in place, Cuyahoga DD may be able to help you create one.) In a non-traditional internship, the student is usually only seeking experience and/or knowledge about a topic. This type of internship is not usually affiliated with a college/university.

All placements are unpaid and subject to:

  • Availability of supervisors
  • Assessed fit between the student's educational needs and the experiences available
  • Completion of necessary paperwork and pre-placement background checks

To be considered for an internship, the Request for Internship form must be completed and submitted. Because it will take several weeks or more to process a request and placement, please allow ample time for this.
