Employment Supports

People with developmental disabilities can work and want to work.

Cuyahoga DD encourages all people of working-age to pursue community employment. Support is available to discover the type of job you might enjoy, to find a job and to be successful in the job.

A Cuyahoga DD Support Administrator (SA) can help you to:

  • Find out what type of job you might enjoy; and
  • Connect you with other community agencies or employment service providers that can help you find a job, including your school or Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities; and
  • Help you figure out how to get to and from your job; and
  • Coordinate supports to help you do your job.

Watch the "Working in the Community" video below to learn about the many benefits of community employment.
