Good Life Ambassadors
People with developmental disabilities should be able to access and participate fully in a community where they are welcomed, included, and supported. This includes where they live, learn, work, play and worship. In support of Cuyahoga DD’s commitment to inclusion, Cuyahoga DD, retains the Good Life Ambassadors. They are a group of adults with developmental disabilities who are well-versed on advocacy and customer-focused services and are interested in sharing their expertise and personal stories with you. Their mission is to educate and inspire the community to be inclusive by speaking on a variety of topics that promote the full participation of people with disabilities in community life. Topics range from tips for interacting with people with disabilities to the importance of equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Presentations by Good Life Ambassadors are free of charge and can be customized to an audience’s needs. Please allow at least 2-3 weeks prior advance notice.
