The agencies and municipalities receiving funds include:

  • Adaptive Sports Ohio
  • City of Bedford Heights
  • City of Cleveland
  • City of Solon / Solon Center for the Arts
  • Elle’s Enchanted Forest / Playground for Everyone
  • Empower Sports
  • GiGi’s Playhouse
  • Oakwood Village
  • Orange Community Education & Recreation
  • Rec2Connect
  • Seven Hills Recreation Center
  • The Up Side of Downs Northeast Ohio
  • Village of Walton Hills
  • Youth Challenge

Funds provided to these agencies will be used for a variety of expansion needs. These include new equipment and supply purchases, fees for instructors/coaches with specialized skills, increased outreach/marketing, and staff training related to creating a welcoming environment and making accommodations. Expanded program offerings are expected to begin in the summer of 2021.
