Update: Governor issues "stay at home" order and deems county boards of DD essential.
Governor DeWine has issued a “stay at home” order that takes effect on March 23, 2020 at midnight. To slow the spread of COVID-19, this order mandates the statewide closure of all non-essential businesses and the suspension of all non-essential travel until Monday, April 6.
The operations of county boards of DD, including Cuyahoga DD, have been deemed essential. Provider agencies and independent providers have also been deemed essential. This means that the people and agencies who support those with developmental disabilities will continue to work and travel to the extent required to deliver services.
Cuyahoga DD remains available to support you. While we have temporarily closed our buildings to the public, Cuyahoga DD staff can support you through phone calls, email, virtual visits (using technology), and in-person visits for urgent situations.
