Home and Community-Based Services Waivers

Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services Waivers are just one of the funding options to pay for services for people with developmental disabilities. Based on your needs, other funding options might be explored and utilized, including connecting you to services and resources available in the community.

Changes to Ohio's Waiver Waiting List

County Boards of DD in Ohio no longer maintain a waiver waiting list. Instead, a statewide assessment tool is used to better understand a person's need for services, and any current or immediate needs they may have. This allows county boards of DD to better help people based on immediate need and not on their number on a list.
