Description
Job Duties:
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in food service areas, including shelves, products, and floors.
- Stock and organize food service cases, ensuring product presentation, tagging, and pricing accuracy.
- Rotate food service products, discarding expired or spoiled items.
- Assist and respond positively to customer inquiries, including selling and cross-selling products.
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
- Operate and use equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Prepare various food service items, using appropriate ingredients and cooking times.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
- 1-2 years of grocery retail experience (preferred)
- Able to work in cooler temperatures
