Qualifications/Requirements:

   - Able to work from blueprints, customer specifications, production schedules, and written/verbal instructions. 

    - Can pass a drug test screening for narcotics

    - Basic computer skills for recording data/activity

Overview of Job:

    Operate equipment and machinery to manufacture and form blower housing parts, and perform assembly and pack operations on housing assemblies. 

Core Job Duties:

   - Operate equipment and machinery to form blower housing parts. 

   - Perform assembly and pack operations on housing assemblies.

   - Operate and change-over machinery/equipment, such as - shears, automated housing assembly equipment, piercing machines, and handling equipment.

   - Assemble housings including - inserting wheels into housing and inserting/fastening cutoff etc. per customer needs.

    - Insert rivnuts into housing sides, as required.

    - Pack housing assemblies onto pallets. 

    - Check parts and materials for visual defects; perform minor equipment adjustments; and notify Supervisor of out-of-tolerance conditions.

    - Complete minor daily equipment maintenance per posted instructions. 

    - Attach proper identification documentation to pallets and containers. 

    - Use shop floor computers to record time and production activities. 

    - Operate roll form equipment 

    - Exercise proper care when using tools, equipment, and materials. 

    - Complete the inspection procedure as per QF forms required. 

    - Process paperwork labeling, etc. based on work instructions, work in process, customer specifications, quality audits, and other related requirements. 

    - Complete required reports and records.

    - Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision. 

    - Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations/maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner.
