Description

Duties

  • Helping coordinate initial housing placement in partnership with team members
  • Assist case managers with picking up new clients at the airport on time and coordinating transportation to client housing; gathering their luggage and travel documents;
  • Conduct home safety training;
  • Support clients with housing transitions, challenges, and crises, including landlord mediation and emergency financial assistance.
  • Assist Case Managers with file maintenance
  • Communicate client needs to case managers and assist with timely deliver of services;
  • Collaborate with case manager and other staff personnel to confirm appropriate services are in place; 
  • Helping deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate supports; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record and personal transportation
  • Prior experience in providing resettlement services is strongly preferred;
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with providers, vendors, and clients of diverse backgrounds;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and database programs a plus;
  • Bilingual/multilingual ability is strongly preferred;
  • Must have dedication to human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers, and displaced people.
  • Good sense of humor and pleasant, diplomatic manner is desired.

Schedule

Mon-Fri (1st Shift: 9am - 5pm)

Occasional Flexibility needed to support clients

Pay

$38,000 - $42,000 per year
