Adaptive Kayaking

Adaptive kayaking is specifically designed for guests with disabilities to be able to try kayaking. Adaptive equipment, kayaks, paddles, and personal floatation devices are provided. For ages 8 and above. Registration is required and costs $5 per person. Adaptations and staff support are available for this course specifically designed for people with disabilities (including but not limited to physical, cognitive, sensory, visual impairments, and hearing impairments). The entire program will be spent in the pool. Please come dressed to be in the water. Locker rooms will be available for you to change after the program. Dress in non-cotton layers such as synthetic materials, fleece, wool, etc. Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early. Please bring a completed waiver and review the participant equipment list. One caregiver per person will be permitted to participate alongside the individual with a disability at no additional cost.
