Organization Recipients of Grant Funding 2024

$202,000 to Arts & Culture, Recreation Organizations, Libraries, More

March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (NDDAM). To kick off NDDAM and to demonstrate its commitment to inclusion in action, Cuyahoga DD is pleased to announce the recipients of $202,000 in grant funding that will support Cuyahoga County arts and culture organizations, libraries, physical-space accessibility, and recreation centers and providers in creating and/or expanding inclusive, adaptive, and accessible programming for people of all ages with disabilities.

2024 arts and culture recipients include Art of Me Productions, ARTFUL Cleveland, Berea Arts Festival, Broadway School of Music & the Arts, Dancing Wheels, Future Ink Graphics, LGBTQ Community Center of Greater Cleveland, North Point Ballet, NPower Services/Rockability, OH Sew Powerful, Inc., and Valley Art Center.

2024 physical space and access recipients include Beck Center for the Arts, City of Independence Recreation, Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, Musical Arts Association dba The Cleveland Orchestra, Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, Parma Area Historical Society, Solon Recreation Department, and University Circle Inc.

2024 recreation recipients include BAYarts, City of Bedford Parks & Recreation, Cleveland Metroparks, Empower Sports, Jacob’s Ladder Special Needs Fitness, Rec2Connect, Special Olympics, YMCA of Greater Cleveland, and Youth Challenge.

2024 library recipients include Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library and Westlake Porter Public Library.
