Winter Card Contest Winner

Deanna C. Dilley is the winner of our 2023 Winter Card Contest.

Deanna’s interest in the arts expands over many mediums. She enjoys arts and crafts and has fun creating with the art apps on her e-tablet. She likes to express herself by writing poetry and short stories and has a goal to publish a poetry book to highlight people with disabilities.

Deanna also loves theater, participating in drama club, acting camp and showcasing her talents on stage at the Beck Center in Razzle Dazzle. As a former Special Olympic athlete, Deanna stays active in her bowling league.

Deanna has a background in data entry and has worked at banks and offices. She now attends My Choice LLC and helps by typing newsletter articles and updating Facebook.

Deanna is also becoming an advocate for people with disabilities by participating in local advocacy events, zoom meetings and conferences and is secretary for People First through the Arc of Ohio. Recently, she read her poems at the Northeast Ohio Coalition of Disability Organizations' March for Access and Rally.
